I am a registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and a member of the Australian Psychological Society. I am committed to growing and developing in my field and regularly attend Professional Development courses.
I originally became registered as a Counsellor whilst working towards my registration as a Psychologist. I have also worked for several years in the fitness and aviation industry, as a Fitness Instructor/Manager and Flight Attendant.
I use the skills and experience from all of these careers to bring a holistic approach to my sessions. I am caring, empathetic, genuine, reliable and trustworthy, and my counselling environment is comfortable and relaxing.
I am a mother of two young adult children and I have experienced re-establishing a career and studying whilst raising a family. I am from New Zealand and I have also experienced moving to a new country with a young family. I understand motherhood and I am passionate about work-life balance.
When I am not at work I enjoy bush walking, walking my dog, mountain biking, reading, travelling, and attending church.
